Psychiatry

The Saint Anthony Hospital's behavioral health services consist of both inpatient and outpatient adult psychiatric care.

Our Psychiatry Department is staffed by a clinical mix of experienced psychiatrists, social workers, psychiatric nurses, licensed counselors, mental health counselors, recreation therapists, art therapists and mental health workers.

Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides cognitive-behavioral therapy, art therapy, stress reduction and role play in addition to more traditional group therapy and psycho-education. We develop individualized treatment plans for each client, provide one-on-one case management and also provide individual therapy, as needed. Clients attend IOP 3-5 days per week, depending upon their program choice, symptom severity and scheduling concerns. Many of our clients use these programs to learn skills that help them to reduce psychiatric hospitalizations and, in many cases, go on to vocational training programs.

Program Hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Staff are available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
